Hit one of those 2-3 inch deep ones at 40-50 mph. It basically felt like someone blew some tanerite up in my wheelwell.
I was shocked that it A.) Held air, and B.) Didnt lead to catastophic suspension failure.
Theres a bulge in the sidewall aswell as crack/rips from basically compressing the sidewall flat.
Damages so far from road neglect.
Cracked/ruined transmission.
Two very bent rims
One cracked rim
Three ruined tires due to bulges in the sidewall.

Ahh, the roads by me are pretty bad too in rural western ny. Luckily most of my cars have a lot of sidewall give.

Sidewall is seriously underrated.

What are the ethical dilemmas of carrying around orange spray paint and painting wangs on them all. Or just circling them.
I don’t think graffiti and destruction of property is correct. But I also don’t think cities and states ignoring giant potholes that destroy tires and wheels and suspensions are fair either.

I know that feel bro.
See the split above the dent? Blowout.
Wasn’t a pothole though, I was performing lift off oversteer on a wet roundabout at night, I was 19 and I know better now.

Budget for defense etc, is 21% of gdp that is Alot. Now if less were to spent here it stands to reason more could be spent on neglected infrastructure. This is relavent because its less an issue of low profile tires and more an issue of having massive potholes everywhere. I shouldnt need to change my rims/tires to suit the roads level of neglect.

Gotcha. I still think low-pro tires are stupid, though I do not disagree with your statement.
